So very darling! I remember well that feeling of wanting to be "big enough" to cross the street on my own or tag along on adult adventures. I was the oldest sibling in my family though, so I must say, even more often, I recall being the one that my brother and sister wanted to tag along and do things with. I was usually more than happy to let them, so long as my parents approved. It's really darling that you have illustrated memories of your children like this.
They do grow up too quickly! I am learning that with my almost 6 year old - seems like he should still be a baby :) Love your drawing, Hope. You are such a talented lady :)
